How do your services differ from those offered by other local providers? Our program is designed around convenient access to integrated healthcare services and personalized attention. Our programs go beyond the routine "annual physical." We focus on the lifestyle of each client to evaluate disease risk and design strategies to mitigate that risk. Our goal is long-term health and well-being.
Can the results of my examination be sent to my primary care physician? Yes. At the client's request, a copy of the examination results will be sent to your primary care physician.
How far in advance do I need to schedule an appointment? Due to the number of team members that need to be scheduled, we ask for at least a ten business- day advance notice.
How long is the exam? The length of the examination is tailored to your schedule and particular health needs; however, you should plan to set aside an entire day.
Will I have access to a phone and an internet connection? Yes. Each suite is equipped with a computer workstation, wireless internet access and a telephone.
What do I need to bring with me the day of the exam? What to wear: Bring or wear comfortable clothing. T-shirt and shorts (or sweat pants) are recommended. Exercise shoes are essential.
How to Prepare: • Should I eat or drink before my appointment (exercise, alcohol, nicotine and caffeine) 24 hours before your exam. • No food or beverages other than water 12 hours before your exam. Take all medications as prescribed.
Documents or records: • Your insurance card in case we need to arrange for follow up medical services not included in your exam. • A copy of any important medical records you wish discuss with our physician.
Should I eat or drink before my appointment? You should not eat anything after midnight the day before the exam. The morning of the exam you may have water. Be sure to take any prescription medication you would normally take at this time of day.
What happens if I need to cancel my appointment? We understand that scheduling conflicts occur; we will work with you to reschedule. However, we do ask that you give us as much advance notice as possible. To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call 919.926.3010.
What happens if I need additional tests or services? If as a result of your examination you require additional services, AIHF Wellness will be happy to coordinate appointments with other AIHF providers. Payment for services outside the scope of AIHF Wellness are required at the time of service received after the day of your exam but can be submitted to insurance. Be sure to check with your insurance carrier regarding coverage for additional tests.
Are your programs covered by health insurance? AIHF Wellness does not file insurance for any of its programs. You or your company will be billed for the services rendered subsequent to the completion of the program.
